Candle Care
We want you to enjoy your candle safely. I have put together some simple instructions to follow to ensure your safety and the best candle experience:
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Burn on a heat-resistant surface.
- Keep out of reach of children, pets and flammable materials.
- Do not burn in a draught.
- For best results, keep wick centered and trim to approximately 1cm prior to lighting each time.
- Allow the candle to reach a full burning pool before extinguishing and do not burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
- Container may become hot when the candle is lit.
- Allow candle to cool fully before relighting.

Diffuser Care
There are a few steps to follow when using a diffuser to scent your home.
First of all, please be careful when first opening the lid to pop in the reeds for the first time, and also to keep them off any surfaces (especially painted surfaces) to ensure there is no staining.
The best place to place a diffuser in your home for optimum scent throw is in a warm environment as the warmth of the room allows for greater evaporation of the oil. This also means that in very warm rooms and particularly in the summer, the diffuser is unlikely to last as long as in cooler months. You may also find that the diffuser does not appear to be as strong in bathrooms, which tend to be cooler environments. Bear this in mind and place your diffuser accordingly.
A great place to pop your diffuser is on top of a chest of drawers or in a hallway with good air flow. Indeed, the simple act of walking past the diffuser will waft the scent as you move. Avoid placing your diffuser too high (on top of a cupboard) or too low down.
The diffusers will start working and dispersing their fragrance between 60-90 minutes after placing the reeds in the liquid. This is likely to vary depending on the fragrance you have chosen as some oils are a lot “thicker” than others and therefore the reeds need to work harder to soak up and diffuse the fragrance into the room.
I often get asked whether it is necessary to flip or turn the reeds every onw and again. In truth, the reeds are designed to not need flipping, however if you do turn them every couple of weeks you will get an almost instant burst of fragrance to reward you.
Finally, if you do decide to flip the reeds, it is recommended to wear gloves, as handling used reeds will likely result in touching the oil. Please wash hands after doing so.
