The Calon Home Story

Founded in 2019, Calon Home specialises in a range of candles, home fragrance and gift sets.  We started off selling a range of luxury scented candles alongside our hugely popular and long-lasting natural wax melts.  We had very humble beginnings from a kitchen table with just a few scents to producing hundreds of luxury scented candles that are now shipped around the UK and further afield. I began offering the option to personalise the candle lids and this has been very well received by our customers.

We have now expanded our range to stock a range of beautiful home accessories, skincare and knitwear from other small Welsh and UK businesses.

We are proud to live and work in Wales and the Welsh language and features on many of our offerings.

Striving for Better…

Calon is the Welsh word for “heart” and we try to show how much we care by constantly striving for better. We deeply care about our impact on the world and we try to minimise the impact we have on the planet. We are proud to be plastic-free and each order will arrive in environmentally-friendly packaging. In addition all of our suppliers are UK based and we try to use other small businesses wherever possible.

OUR ETHOS

Our core value is providing our customers with high quality, luxury fragrances,  with minimal impact on our beautiful planet.

All of our suppliers are UK based, and the natural wax we use has been specifically chosen to be as eco-friendly as can be.

We set extremely high standards with regards to customer service and will do out utmost to ensure our customers have an excellent experience from order right through to delivery.

OUR PACKAGING

All of our packaging is plastic-free and we use non-laminated paper and card to allow full and easy kerb-side recycling.

Our melts come in biodegradable and compostable glassine bags which can be placed within your household compost.

To ensure your orders arrive safely we pack all orders with either recyclable filler or packing peanuts that are dissolvable in water.

OUR MISSION

We are currently on a tree planting mission.  We pledge that for every order we receive we will plant one tree through reforestation projects run by Ecologi. You can check out the Calon Home forest here.
