Here at Calon Home, we have developed and curated a lovely selection of small-batch Welsh candles with a wide variety of fragrances, from fresh and fruity to earthy or floral notes. We use essential oils and cosmetic-grade fragrances in all our creations as well as vegan-friendly natural wax to ensure a long-lasting and clean burn with fabulous throw. With a wide range of styles and fragrances, you’re sure to find your new favourite!
Perfect for all gifting occasions, our Welsh candles are hand-poured in small batches in our home studio in Carmarthenshire, adding a personal touch to every item. Proud to be an independent British brand, we have bilingual messages with English and Welsh on many of our lids, labels and packaging.
Looking for Unique and Truly Personal Candle Gifts?
To add an extra element of personalisation to a candle gift, we offer the option to add an engraved message to one of our Personalised Candles. First, we take a high quality bamboo lid that is sustainably manufactured, and add a simple design that is suitable for the occasion at hand, to which you can finish off with your own message. We’ll engrave whatever you like, however meaningful or silly!
The different occasions also have different colour labels, and there are options of our strongest candles for all milestone events, whether it’s for celebrating a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or you simply want to send someone a gift to brighten their day.
Any orders of specially made candle gifts can be sent directly to the recipient upon request along with a handwritten gift message, and will not include any information on price. We love adding personal touches to make the candle gifts truly special.

How We Make our Scented Candles
All of the scented candles that bear the Calon branding are hand-poured in small batches in our home studio in beautiful Carmarthenshire, in West Wales. Our dedication to small-batch production means that we can ensure quality and consistency with every single item that is sent to a customer.
We use a special blend of coconut and rapeseed candle wax, which are eco-friendly, vegan and 100% natural candle waxes that are specially designed to be used in the strongest candles and long lasting wax melts.
We have put great efforts into creating the wide range of stunning fragrances for our scented candles and luxury wax melts, developed with what I believe are the finest cosmetic grade fragrance and essential oils on the market. One thing you can be sure of is that we never launch a new scent until we are fully happy with the aesthetics of the candle, and of course, the all important “hot throw”.
The range is constantly expanding and we now offer a range of products, all of which use sustainable materials that are either recyclable, reusable or biodegradable. Every purchase will see us plant a tree in collaboration with Ecologi, so thank you for supporting our small business and saving the planet.
